Any food does not affect the effectiveness of the medicine. The drug does not enhance the effects of alcohol on the central nervous system. Inform your doctor if you are taking anti-anxiety medicine Valium, Ativan, Lexapro, Luvox, Klonopin, sleeping pills like  Ambien, Sonata, Rozerem, Halcion, Restoril, or Lunesta, or other pain relief medicine like Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Oxycontin, Gabapentin, Norco, Vicodin, Lortab, etc. Stop these pills after consulting your doctor.
